SEASON 41
SEASON 41 COMPLETE THRU WEEK 15 PER ZACH DOLAN
MVP VOTES
BRETT MULLEN "RETORT" I guess I had a different criteria of "All Star" team. I was thinking the best of the best that had been out the past few weeks... I did not take attendance into account, but even doing that Daniel was there half the season and I would still put him on there. Also, my facespace posts aren't always the most thought out or straight forward. Anyways, here's my ALL STAR SQUAD
QB: Zach
WR: Adrian
WR: Daniel
WR: Chris J. (over 2k yards with ~18yard average)
DB: Adrian
DB: Daniel
DB: Garrett (stats aren't the best, but he seems to come up with picks when you really need them)
DT: Brett (I had to...suck it Kyle. Ask Adrian how much it sucks getting stuffed at the line by me + daniel) BEAST MODE
CHRIS JACKSON mine has to go to AD. Finishing on a 5 game winning streak and 4000 yards, congrats man. But honestly don't you feel like you should have won 4 MVPs? My all star team would be
QB Zach Dolan
WR Adrian Colbert, Chris Jackson, and Matt Roberson
DB Garrett, Adrian, Kasey, andKyle
JESSE HALBERT SEASON 41 MVP
MVP- Adrian
Qb Zach Dolan
Wr Adrian
Wr Matt r
Wr Chris Jackson
Db Adrian
Db josh
Db Garrett
Db Chris Jackson- defensive tackles do not count

WR Roberson

DB Chase
DB Kasey
ZACH DOLAN SEASON 41 MVP SELECTION Its between 3. Adrian, josh, and chase. I'm going with ad. Chase josh pretty had the exact same stats minus the tackles and int for td. Adrian a winning record and 4000+ yards receiving. I've said it before and I'll say it again. That's hard to do against air.
All stars
Qb Zach dolan. I'm the best qb. Period. I don't care how many ints or record.
Wr adrian
Wr Roberson
Wr Kasey Broke 2000
Db adrian
Db josh
Db Garrett
Dt Kasey
KASEY VENETOFF SEASON MVP VOTES My choice is Chase is for season mvp and yes I know Adrian went beast out there and I take a bow to his inhuman performance good job man. I chose chase for his good passing yards and less interceptions thrown and percentage rate. (Zach is still better) Plus he has 1000 receiving yds and a good win/lose record. All star team
qb Chase Durnal (Good qb but maybe it was a fluke who knows.)
Wr Adrian (If I have to answer why. I will slap those who ask and run)
Wr Roberson (Good on offense and I think can do better on defense but then again my defense sucks so I have no right to talk)
Wr Chris Jackson (Why couldn't you do this when I was in high school)
DB Adrian ( A lot of ints, picks 6s and tackles)
DB Josh (Same reason as Adrian)
DB never thought I say this but Ga Garre ga Garrett (Im going to puke from saying thaT
DT Kyle Venetoff. Why? Ten sacks people! That is what a DT does and Kyle is tied for most sacks in a game or did he break it I don't remember
BRETT MULLEN SEASON 41 MVP SELECTION Well, it's really hard to pick a Season 41 MVP. Nobody really made it an easy pick. Those might be thinking "WHAT?!?!? HOW CAN YOU NOT PICK AD". Well children, his W-L record. Most valuable player of the season should not have a 8-7 record in my opinion. I ended up with a 7-8 record.... granted I didn't do much of anything contributing to my teams wins...but yeah. Then you have someone like Josh (yes I'm going to catch some flack for this one I know...) who ends the season at 10-5? Yes yes, AD got 4 game MVP's to Josh's 1 game MVP. Well, how about Daniel ending the season at 6-1? With 1 (possibly 2, he gets my vote for the last game of last season for MVP)... Again, hard to make a pull for him for MVP with only having half as many games. So who would I pick for Season 41 MVP? I'm going to have to go with AD, for the fact that he was on a what? 5-6 game win streak at the end? And he really turned his game up a notch as far as wanting to win instead of get stats.
So there's my pick...
EVERETT CROSS SEASON 41 MVP Kyles MVP selection can be found below the globe and I will be referring to his later on in my post. What can I say that others (Zach and Sprague) haven't? Those two stole what I was going to say on my Season MVP post. Catching 4000 yards in a season is either sickening or darn near impossible. Chase's 4000/1000 yard season is supposed to be considered worthy to Adrian's 4000 yards receiving? Adrian caught for 4000. He caught for 4000! As Zach so eloquently put it, that's hard to do against air! So hands down my vote is Adrian. Over 600 players have gone through the GCFL over the years? Then you look at the receivers we have had that are really good with Sprague, Shannon, Josh, Hargrove, etc.... yet none of them have come anywhere close to 4000 yards and at one point in time, all of those I just mentioned played WR full time. Adrian broke that record by 1000 yards. What has the GCFL come too? I remember a time when many of the now seasoned veterans laughed at Shannon and I when we said anyone we used to play with was good because they would look at the stats of old and say they could post those in their sleep. Zach wants to take the most extreme case of Jimmy Cosper or Lee Lamb when in actuality those played in the very early stages of season 1 and 2 when I had to beg people to play and drive to their house and pick them up. Then they want to use that to discredit the Scott Leathermans, Clint Beesleys, Aaron Ballingers, and Maureo Wilsons. Well now we have Kasey Venetoff posting what Josh or Sprague used to do and consider an MVP Season and yet Kasey is no where close to getting mentioned for Season MVP. So in a few years does this mean that we start discrediting Josh, Sprague, and Paulding? I'm beginning to think all of my theories are wrong, because upon further investigation all of the defensive stats are off the charts as well. Maybe the league has just evolved. Maybe this also means that it evolved from whenever you first started too. So maybe your theories that you guys are the only good players ever to play are wrong as well!
Now maybe Chase is offended that I said I'm not at all impressed with 4000 yards passing and I'm not. However I'm now going to turn my guns on Zach. I'm the greatest QB ever blah blah blah... That is starting to sound like an Adrian Colbert. Obviously Kyle will buy that but I don't. I do think Zach is the best QB in the GCFL but I don't think that should guarantee him to get the all star QB every season. I'm analytical and don't blindly say Zach's the best and go on with life. Lets give credit where its due. Chase had 11.17 yards per attempt to your 7.7. Chase had a 66% pass completion percentage to your 51%. Chase had a 6.8 td/int ratio to your 2.6. I hope Chase hasn't been doctoring his stats when he takes them but I'm going to trust him that he wouldn't do that. This season Chase simply has superior numbers to you. How can any of you not take him as your QB for the all star team? It's funny Kyle picks Chase to be the season MVP yet he doesn't nominate him anywhere on his all star team.
Anyway I'm very caught up at work so today I plan on fixing a small mistake on this week's stats, finishing season 41 stats, and back checking Zach's work with mine to remove any mistakes he or I may have made. Also I have went to the history page on multiple occasions this last week from people asking me questions to doing my own research for posts. It irritates me that it is only updated to season 38. I plan on updating that as well. Anyway here are my season MVP votes and all star team.
MVP = ADRIAN COLBERT
QB = Chase Durnal
WR = Adrian Colbert, Matt Roberson, Chris Jackson
DB = Adrian Colbert, Garrett Griffith, Josh Griffin, Chase Durnal
KYLE VENETOFF SEASON 41 MVP VOTES Well I was trying to wait for the last week to be added to season stats but I guess that is not happening. Daniel is not on my All Start list simply because he did not play enough games in the season to be on it. And since everybody thinks DT does not matter lets stop having someone rush the QB and just use a safety and you idiots will see how much Defensive pressure does matter when the QB has all day to throw and starts killing defenses at will.
MVP- Chase Durnal (4000/1000 is impressive.....plus I live with him and I don't wanna hear about it later if I don't vote for him lol)
QB- Zach Dolan (Zach said it himself and I agree, he is the best QB out there and it is that simple.)
WR- Adrian Colbert
WR- Matt Roberson
WR- Chris Jackson
DB- Josh Griffin
DB- Adrian Colbert
DB- Garrett Griffith
DT- Kasey Venetoff (He broke the tackle record. And DT does matter.)
