HISTORY
Monday July 26 1993, around 5:00 after dinner. It all started with Charlie Parker asking me to play football at Falls Creek. I told him no at first & said it was too hot. I hardly knew these guys. He said he was going to play anyway & asked me to hold his football while he scrounged up some people. Well I could only hold his football for so long before I wanted to drill somebody with it. First game was at ball park #2 which now is the location of the tabernackle. After seeing how poorly I played Softball earlier in the day these 15 year old kids picked me last not knowing I already played football on a regular basis. Lets just say I had more football skills than softball. I smoked all them fools! When we returned from Falls Creek I hounded them every Sunday to play before church. At first I was begging people to play. Some weeks we didnt have enough. But week after week, being predictable. Playing at the same place, same time every week without interruption, people in the neighborhood who wanted to play football knew where they could find a game.

DANNY SALTER | OFFENSE | DEFENSE |
unanimous vote | QB = Everett Cross | CB = Shannon Cross |
| WR = Danny Salter | CB = Everett Cross |
| WR = Lee Lamb | SS = Charles Howard |
| RB = Charlie Parker | FS = Danny Salter |
Everyones stats this season were minimal & not worth mentioning. Half the season stats were estimated after the game. Then I wanted more accurate stats & started taking them during the game. It still wasn’t down to an art form. When I started taking stats during the game & writing the game stories everyone made fun of me, said I was a little too serious with this whole football thing, & looked at me like I was stupid. I have to admit I was a little embarrased but I stuck with it. Everett, Shannon, Matt, Jimmy, Ron Myres, Charlie Parker, Lee Lamb, & Danny Salter first games.

EVERETT CROSS | OFFENSE | DEFENSE |
Votes: Everett = 3, Nick Carter = 2, Shannon & Danny = 1 | QB = Nick Carter | CB = Charlie Parker |
| WR = Danny Salter | CB = Everett Cross |
| WR = Shannon Cross | SS = Shannon Cross |
| WR = Charlie Parker | FS = Danny Salter |
4/17/94-7/31/94 Again stats not worth mentioning. After looking thru the season Matt broke the record for the most passing yards in a single game. What was it? 225 yards! Quite pathetic. Heck any decent GCFL QB can do that in his sleep now. However you must realize we played on a 40 yard long field field, the games were only 45 minutes long, & we had little kids getting in the way wanting to play (namely Jimmy Quinn). People had come to expect the whole stats taking thing but they only cared on a per game basis.

SHANNON CROSS | OFFENSE | DEFENSE |
Votes: Shannon = 3, Charlie Parker = 2, Maureo = 1, Nick Carter = 1 | QB = Everett Cross | CB = Shannon Cross |
| WR = Shannon Cross | CB = Nick Carter |
| WR = Charlie Parker | SS = Dale Madison |
| RB = Aaron Ballinger | FS = Maureo Wilson |
8/14/94 - 11/27/94 This season I evolved to a computer. Everett Cross broke the record for the most yards passing in a season with 2037. Still no WR had ever eclipsed 1000 yards. Half the season was tackle half was tag. Aaron Ballinger made his first GCFL appearance & posted 401 yards rushing that season. Sep 4 1994 Maureo Wilsons first time to meet & play with us. We were playing in his mother in laws back yard & we had heard bad stories about him. Shannon & I didnt want to let him play but it was Marys back yard & we couldnt tell her no. Five weeks later & Maureos second game on 10/23/94 Jimmy Brings his cousin Christina Cotner out for her first game.
SEASON 4
MAUREO WILSON | OFFENSE | DEFENSE |
Votes: Maureo=5, Everett=3, Charlie Parker=1, Randy Perkins=1 | QB = Maureo Wilson | CB = Everett Cross |
| WR = Shannon Cross | CB = Charlie Parker |
| WR = Randy Perkins | SS = Robert ??? |
| RB = Aaron Ballinger | FS = Maureo Wilson |
12/4/94 - 5/21/95 As you can tell from the season MVP, that Maureo dude hung around when he should have joined the NFL. I guess Quick Trip had more money & fame. Everyone loved the stats by now except for Maureo & refused to have anything to do with it. We had moved to a bigger field at Phillpot Park with a big trees you had to avoid. Most of this season was tackle. Aaron Ballinger set the record with 261 yards rushing in a single game. This vs a defense with solid tacklers. Aaron was probably the smallest guy on the field. But you couldnt touch him.

| WR = Maureo Wilson | SS = Maureo Wilson |

5/28/95 - 11/12/95 I didn’t like this season. The popularity had died down somewhat & outside of about 5 core people, we were playing new faces every week. Some of which I didn’t like & some with bad attitudes.

EVERETT CROSS | OFFENSE | DEFENSE |
Votes: Everett Cross = 8, Shannon Cross = 1 (a unanimous vote. Shannons one vote was from Everett) | QB = Everett Cross | CB = Shannon Cross |
| WR = Shannon Cross | CB = Scott Leatherman |
| WR = Chad Beesley | SS = Everett Cross |
| RB = Aaron Ballinger | FS = Maureo Wilson |
1/21/96 - 12/22/96 We went thru a spell of few people again. One week it was just Scott, Charlie & I. Nobody else. Scott said "hey, I know these 2 Beesley brothers, they might come play." Well they didn’t play that week but from then on they were regulars. Chad Beesley finished the season second only to Shannon in recieving. 8/25/96 was Chad Beelseys first game. This season also had the debut of the legend Hector.

| WR = Everett Cross | SS = Maureo Wilson |
| RB = DJ Veret | FS = Scott Leatherman |
12/29/96 - 10/19/97 Finally a WR eclipsed 1000 yards in a season. Who was it? Everett Cross! Odd GCFL fact. He also passed for over 1000. The first 1000/1000 club member. This old, bald, white, guy had his first game. He looked out of place, never asked for the ball, always had minimal yards, & was hardly noticed. Doug Bells first game on record 9/7/97. In this se ason Scott touted he was better than Maureo & went out to prove it by breaking all interception records. At this point due to injuries playing tackle became non existent. Rushing became extinct.

| WR = Shannon Cross | CB = Jimmy Quinn |
| WR = Jimmy Quinn | SS = Matt McGonigal |
| WR = Matt McGonigal | FS = Shannon Cross |
11/2/97 - 1/24/99 Well that Maureo guy disappeared we didn’t know what happened to him. The slow, old, bald, white guy became roomates with my brother & Matt, set himself up on teams where he could dictate plays, drafted Shannon & Jimmy every week & started the dynasty. I hated themselves calling them that but it stuck. I was the one left playing them every week. By now Jimmy Quinn was maturing & becomming a force to be reconed with. This season however was Shannons season. He broke all records & had 6 MVPs that season.

1/31/99 - 6/6/99 Shannon breaks the most yards receiving in a season with 1603. Maureo makes store manager for Quick trip where he no longer has to work Sunday afternoons & reappears after a 2 year absence. Nobody talked to him the whole time. He just decided to drive by & see if we still played. After 6 years in the league Jimmy gets his first game MVP. Doug breaks the record for most yards passing in a season.

5/13/99 - 4/2/00 After knowing this guy for 2 years & constant hanging around Jimmy & Shannon, Jeremy finally got persuaded to play. Jeremys first game was on 3/19/00. He wasn’t too thrilled about it & didn’t play again for the longest time even though he went off in that game. This season also saw the final performance of Charlie Parker & Lee Lamb.

4/9/00 - 6/29/01Once again we were growing & had about 10 core players. Then add all the newcommers. That narrow field at Phillpot park that we had spent the last 7 years at wasn’t big enough to handle the numbers. Everett came up with the ideal of playing 2 games simultaneously. A game with the regulars & a game with the newcommers. The newcommers didnt want this & felt left out so we just mixed everyone in 2 seperate games & moved to Webster football field. It worked fine. This gave us a better field & a longer field. Compile that with adding about 30 minutes to the games duration. All the stats improved & records were being broken daily. Doug broke all passing records.

| WR = Matt McGonigal | SS = Maureo Wilson |
| WR = Jimmy Quinn | FS = Jimmy Quinn |
5/27/02 - 9/5/02 Chad Beesley asked me one day why I quit taking stats. After I told him I was burned out, he offered to take over for a while & did. Thus why I rely on him alot for advice & stat taking. Upon showing him the stat book & all the work I ever done he became inspired to break records. During this time Jimmy Quinn was officially full grown & decided to break out of the shadow of the GCFLs greatest all time reciever. With all of Jimmys years, he was an automatic veteran. He took his training as Shannon & my apprentice, teamed up with Chad, & went around touting themselves as the greatest tandem to hit the GCFL. Jimmy & Chad broke records at their respective positions. Chads work & love for the stats re-inspired me to take stats once again. Nigel Eastmans first game was 5/27/02 & probably the fastest guy ever to play in the GCFL.

| QB = Everett Cross | CB = Shannon Cross |
| WR = Shannon Cross | CB = Russell Bell |

9/8/02 - 12/29/02 In this season Shannon & Everett set out to retake their records that Chad & Jimmy so selfishly took from them. Everett took his passing records back, Shannon fell short by about 190 yards but still had the second best receiving season ever. Regardless of all the records being broken, Maureo was solid all around & got the MVP.
SEASON 14

MAUREO WILSON | OFFENSE | DEFENSE |
| QB = Maureo Wilson | CB = Shannon Cross |
| WR = Shannon Cross | CB = Russell Bell |
| WR = Jimmy Quinn | SS = Maureo Wilson |
| WR = Nigel Eastman | FS = Jimmy Quinn |
1/5/03 - 11/2/03 Every week it became Maureo -vs- Jimmy show. Chad Beesley was posting messages saying Jimmy was the new king of the GCFL & that with Jimmy as his WR he could never lose. Maureos response was "everyone can lose 3 games & its ok, but if I do then Im fallen." Beesley & Jimmy were still a tandem, but Beesley only played 4 games that season. This season also had the best recieving games on record when Nigel Eastman & all his speed posted back to back 300 yard games. Chase Durnal & Kyle Venetoffs first game was on 8/31/03.

| WR = Jimmy Quinn | FS = Maureo Wilson |
11/9/03 - 5/31/04 "What was all that I said about Jimmy & I? Forget that! My brother & I are a tandem now." That was pretty much the actions of Chad Beesley when Clint Beesley made his GCFL return. Both Beesleys lost a lot of games that season but they were purposely trying to play the Maureo Shannon tandem every week to prove a point. Jimmy Quinn set out to make a 1000/1000 club. We thought it had never been done before. I never looked thru the archives to verify it. We assumed he was & he advertised it constantly. It won him the season MVP.

| WR = Joey Williams | FS = Clint Beesley |
6/6/04 - 9/19/04 The Bees/Bees tandem actually won games this season. The league was starting to see many new faces including its first Bozone. Lee Barber & Dustin Calvert were bringing everyone from Kiefer they could imagine & telling us how we couldn’t match their sheer talent. Instead all the Kiefer guys had losing seasons. After years in the GCFL & never winning the season MVP, Chad Beesley was begging for it & had good passing numbers to back it up. Instead everyone chose Shannon.

CHAD BEESLEY | OFFENSE | DEFENSE |
Votes: Chad Beesley = 4, Maureo Wilson = 3 | QB = Maureo Wilson | CB = Chase Durnal |

| WR = Clint Beesley | SS = Joey Williams |
| WR = Chase Durnal | FS = Maureo Wilson |
9/26/04 - 1/9/05 Beesley was getting desperate for a season MVP & came to realize that he probably wouldn’t get it from his passing alone. He tried what worked for Jimmy & set out for the 1000/1000 club. That on top of begging people & hand shaking paid off. The league as a whole was getting way too big. There were several weeks we had over 24 people & we went to 3 games. The season marked the beginning of the Dolans, other Bozones, Sprague & friends thereof.

MAUREO WILSON | OFFENSE | DEFENSE |
Votes: Maureo = 4, Shannon = 3, Everett, Marcus Dolan, Michael Paulding, Kyle Venetoff, Chase Durnal, & Zach Dolan = 1 | QB = Maureo Wilson | CB = Chase Durnal |
| WR = Shannon Cross | CB = Zach Dolan |
| WR = Chase Durnal | SS = Maureo Wilson |
| WR = Matt McGonigal | FS = Michael Paulding |
3/27/05 - 2/5/06 The face of the GCFL had changed. New guys were out numbering the veterans 3 to 1. Those Chase & Venetoff guys themselves were starting to become veterans. Marcus Dolan was the first non Cross or Beesley to lead the league in passing in a long time. There were several weeks I didn’t take stats due to too many people or stat taking burnout.
SEASON 19

Michael Paulding | OFFENSE | DEFENSE |
Votes: Michael Paulding = 7, Everett, Marcus, Chase, Chad Sprague = 1 | QB = Marcus Dolan | CB = Chase Durnal |
| WR = Shannon Cross | CB = Josh Griffin |
| WR = Chase Durnal | SS = Chad Sprague |
| WR = Josh Griffin | FS = Michael Paulding |
2/12/06 - 5/28/06 Two maybe three people stood out. Michael Paulding, Marcus Dolan & Everett Cross. Marcus Dolan broke every passing record both good and bad, Everett had a rebirth in passing quality, far better than in his past performances. Michael Paulding however broke Scott Leathermans long time interceptions record & was the first GCFL player to actually have talent in something other than offense. Michael also came 16 yards short of making the 1000/1000 club before blowing out his knee in the last game of the season.
SEASON 20

Zach Dolan | OFFENSE | DEFENSE |
Votes: Zach Dolan 5, Chad Sprague 4, Shannon 3, Josh Griffin 1 | QB = Zach Dolan | DL = Amanda McGuire |
| WR = Shannon Cross | CB = Josh Griffin |
| WR = Chad Sprague | CB = Matt McGonigal |
| WR = Josh Griffin | FS = Chad Sprague |
6/11/06 - 10/1/06 Due to technical difficulties I missed many games this season. Due to my absence & for various reasons, lack of attendance from Maureo Wilson, Chad Beesley, Marcus Dolan, & Michael Paulding, the GCFL was minus all the franchise quarterbacks. This left Zach the premiere passer & without any competetion at QB all season long. Zach some how managed to win over enough season MVP votes to win it despite Chad Sprague destroying all of Jimmy Quinns season receiving records.

| WR = Matt McGonigal | CB = Matt McGonigal |
| WR = Josh Griffin | FS = Chad Sprague |
10/8/06 - 5/27/07 Again I missed a lot of games due to my motorcycle accident. When I finally did return I was weak & my performance was dismal. Outside of that Nobody really stood out. People seemed to vote for Matt for no other reason than nobody else deserved it. It was mainly his defense that won him this one. After all these years Matt finally did it

Chad Sprague | OFFENSE | DEFENSE |
Votes: Unanimous | QB = Zach Dolan | CB = Chad Sprague |

| WR = Shannon Cross | CB = Chase Durnal |
| WR = Josh Griffin | FS = Jimmy Quinn |
2/4/07 - 5/20/07 Sprague lived quietly in season 21, probably venting over Zach somehow winning the popular vote & taking season 20 MVP from him. In season 22 however Sprague came back with a vengance. In game 1 he broke the record for the most yards receiving in a single game with 358. Then in week 10 he went off breaking the same record again with 360 yards & was also one TD short of tying Chases record of 10 TDs in a single game. All this with his least favorite QB Everett Cross at the helm. In the 15 games Sprague played in that season, only 4 games did he have less than 100 yards. Sprague averaged 180 yards per game, broke Shannons season TD record, & broke his own season yards recieving record. He finished the season with almost twice the recieving yards as Jesse Halbert who finished second in yards recieving for the season. The only person who didnt vote for him to be the season MVP was himself. Being that he wasnt legally able to made it unanimous. It was the first time that has happened since season 6.
SEASON 23
SEASON MVP | ALL STARR |

Jimmy Quinn | OFFENSE | DEFENSE |
Votes: Jimmy Quinn = 3, Josh Griffin & Matt McGonigal = 1 | QB = Zach Dolan | CB = Amanda Griffin |
| WR = Chad Sprague | CB = Zach Dolan |
| WR = Shannon Cross | CB = Chase Durnal |
| WR = Josh Griffin | FS = Jimmy Quinn |
5/27/07 - 9/14/07 Zach broke his brothers season TD passing record and led in yardage passing. Josh Griffin led all recievers with 1717 yards. About the only thing Jimmy led in was interceptions picked. Jimmy didn’t lead in anything else. He did however tie Matt for the most wins this season & started the season off with an 8 game winning streak. He also came one game short of tying the record for the most consecutive wins in a row when you add the last several games of season 22 in. His luck ran out during the last 5 games of the season when he finished 1-4. His 8 game winning streak was enough however to win over the majority of votes for his 3rd season MVP.
SEASON 24
SEASON MVP | ALL STARR |

Zach Dolan | OFFENSE | DEFENSE |
Votes: Zach Dolan = 7, Josh Griffin & Shannon Cross = 1 | QB = Zach Dolan | D = tie of amanda, kyle, jimmy, & reggie |
| WR = Josh Griffin | CB = Shannon Cross |
| WR = Adrian Colbert | CB = Zach Dolan |
| WR = Matt McGonigal | FS = Josh Griffin |
It was clear by now that the GCFL is an offensive minded organization. Few if any were playing defense anymore. Two seasons ago Sprague posted high number receiving, this season Zach Dolan utterly destroyed all season records in passing. Doing this without breaking the most interceptions thrown. Even though Josh accomplished in recieving what would have been a record two years earlier, Zachs gaudy passing numbers drownded out everything else. Adrian Colbert flashed on the scene & came in second in recieving & led everyone in MVPs despite playing in less games than all other top tier players. For the first time in 5 seasons Everett threw for over 3000 yards, Chad Sprague blew his knee & missed most of the season, & Chase Durnal joined the military severely cutting into his playing time.
SEASON 25

Matt Floyd | OFFENSE | DEFENSE |
Votes: Matt Floyd = 5, Joe Arce = 2 | QB = Matt Floyd | CB = Josh Griffin |
| WR = Josh Griffin | CB = Zach Dolan |
| WR = Joe Arce | CB = Chase Durnal |
| WR = Chase Durnal | FS = Reggie Littlejohn |
Several records were broken this season. Matt Floyd broke the season yardage passing record, Chad Beesley broke the record for the most pass attempts in a season, & Joe Arce broke the 14 year long records of the most wins in a season at 12. Despite Josh Griffin leading the season in yards recieving with over 2400 he still couldnt scrounge up any season MVP votes because all the broken records garnisehed all the attention. QB Matt Floyds yardage passing record got him this one, & even though he fell to third in recieving Having that many wins will always get you votes..
SEASON 26
SEASON MVP | ALL STARR |

Maureo Wilson | OFFENSE | DEFENSE |
Votes: Maureo Wilson = 6, Chad Sprague = 1 | QB = Maureo Wilson | DT = Kyle Venetoff |
| WR = Chad Sprague | CB = Chad Sprague |
| WR = Adrian Colbert | CB = Maureo Wilson |
| WR = Shannon Cross | FS = Adrian Colbert |
This season was memorable. For the most part when reading the QB leaders it was like reading a season of old. Everett, Maureo, & Chad Beesley. The Josh / Zach or Josh / Floyd tandems had now taken a back seat to the Maureo / Sprague & Everett / Adrian tandems. The Maureo / Sprague tandem were a deadly combination as both of them tied Joe Arces record for the most wins in a season. The biggest game of this season came in week 5 when the Maureo / Sprague tandem aided with the talents of the 4th all time receiver Chase Durnal got dealt a big upset loss to the underdogs Everett / Adrian / Shannon team. It was their only loss they had when they were on the same team.
This was the first season in a long time Everett Cross led the league in passing. Statistically probably his best season ever. Chad Sprague finished the season with the second best receiving season ever & 12 wins. Good enough to win most season MVPs. However consistently being on Maureos team put Sprague in Maureos shadow. Anytime Maureo Wilson has high attendance in a full season it is almost a garuntee he will walk home with the season MVP. The greatest GCFL player of all time extended his record to 5 season MVPs.

Not much changed since the previous season. Maureo & Sprague were still on the same team Dominating the league. When they were on the same team they only lost one game all season and that was to Zach Dolan.

Kyle Venetoff | OFFENSE | DEFENSE |
Votes: Kyle Venetoff = 4, Joe Arce = 3 | QB = Matt Floyd | CB = Deonte Griffin |
| WR = Joe Arce | CB = Joe Arce |
| WR = Adrian Colbert | CB = Adrian Colbert |
| WR = Josh Griffin | FS = Josh Griffin |
This was the Kyle Venetoff / Joe Arce season. The dark horse came thru with a major season winning MVP upset. Someone who has only won one single game MVP in his entire career went out & broke the record for the most wins in a season. He didnt lead in any category, nor was he dominating in any category, and the argument could be made that Joe Arce was on his team on all of his major wins. But no matter how you slice it Kyle managed to land on the winning team enough to break the record and game him the nickname "Win-etoff". I can testify that he caught a game winning TD on me during this season which aided him with this record. In game 2 of this season all time great Maureo Wilson went down with a season injury when he almost blew out his ACL/MCL. At the age of 38, Maureo swore he had retired for good. Not only a person of great athletic talent who has won the most Season MVPs, but also a person of great character. His tenure helped build the league.

ADRIAN COLBERT | OFFENSE | DEFENSE |
Votes: Adrian Colbert = 3, Josh Griffin = 2, Zach Dolan = 1 | QB = Zach Dolan | CB = Deonte Griffin |

| WR = Adrian Colbert | CB = Adrian Colbert |
| WR = Shannon Cross | FS = Zach Dolan |
This season Joe Arce took a break from football only playing in half the games. He won all but 2 and one of those games was cut short due to heavy rain. This season also saw Adam Thomas for the first time. He was doubted at first until he started picking of all the unsuspecting QBs. Zach Dolans threw 1200 more yards than the next QB. All this aside there was no way Adrian could be left out. He led in almost everything. Tackles, interceptions, & yards receiving.

CHAD SPRAGUE | OFFENSE | DEFENSE |
Votes: Chad Sprague = 4, Josh Griffin = 3 | QB = Josh Griffin | CB = Chad Sprague |
| WR = Chad Sprague | CB = Josh Griffin |
| WR = Adrian Colbert | CB = Adam Thomas |
| WR = Shannon Cross | DL = Amanda Griffin |
This season 3 people stood out Chad Sprague, Josh Griffin, & Shannon Cross. Sprague once again eclipsed 2000 yards receiving but his win loss record was in question, Shannon had many yards receiving and a good win loss record, & Josh led all QBs but mainly stood out due to 12 wins this season. When it came down to the Season MVP voting, it was all Sprague or Josh. Josh who has probably had the current longest tenure of good players without winning a Season MVP led it initially, but Sprague gained some momentum towards the end. With only 5 people casting a vote Josh & Amanda threw their votes in & picked Sprague. This catapult Sprague over Josh. In other words, Josh gave the season MVP to Srague.

ZACH DOLAN | OFFENSE | DEFENSE |
Votes: Zach Dolan = unanimous | QB = Zach Dolan | CB = Daniel Dolan |
| WR = Daniel Dolan | CB = Allen Chandler |
| WR = Matt McGonigal | CB = Shannon Cross |
| WR = Shannon Cross | DL = Kyle Venetoff |
Notice there was no Adrian Colbert or Josh Griffin on the all star list. The reason for this is because Adrian Colbert spent the first half of the season in the Tulsa County Jail cutting into his stats and playing time. The reason for Joshes absence is due to blowing out a knee while trying to cover Daniel Dolan in the second half of the season. Speaking of Daniel Dolan this was his rookie season & he burst onto the scene with a vengance leading all receivers in yardage along with 4 game MVP wins yet only playing in 9 games. Due to being a rookie no one voted for him in the season MVP poles instead opting for his cousin Zach Dolan won it unanimously due to dominating in the QB category along with a great win loss record.

7/4/10 - 10/18/10 Even though his first game was the last game in season 32, This was the inagural season for JR Hargrove. Despite it being his rookie season he broke all recieving record that at the time was held by Chad Sprague. He broke the record for the most yards, the most TDs, and the most receptions in the season recieving categories. To add to that he also tied the record for the most TDs scored in a season with Chad Sprague, and tied the single game MVPs in a season with Shannon Cross. Despite what I thought and his accomplishments on the field some voters stuck to the premise that a rookie shouldnt win an MVP and he didnt. That award went to Allen Chandler, who due to his passing was a great deal of the reason for JRs explosive season. I was personally glad to see a new face added to the Season MVP winners. Also for the first time Kasey Venetoff got mentioned on the all star list.

Votes: Everett Cross = 4, Josh Griffin = 3 | QB = Everett Cross | CB = Adrian Colbert |

Zach Dolan blowing out his knee probably contributed the most to this seasons MVP selection. With Zach being gone left the QB position vacant and the only full time QB to take his place was Everett. Because of this, naturally Everett led in all passing stats but more importantly what catapulted him to win this seasons MVP was he actually won! Being the only QB put him on good teams and he didnt choke when given this opportunity. On top of that he pulled off a couple of upsets when he wasnt on a good team. Josh Griffin also led high in all categories and almost won his first Season MVP. However because some voters said Josh merely performed as expected and since the 40 year old last round draft pick Everett Cross over achieved, they decided Everett should be the MVP. On a personal note since I the writer am Everett Cross I just wat to say that I never thought I would win one again and it was nice to even be considered relevant.

This seasons MVP was decided by Chase, litterally! He was the only one who voted. Even if anyone else voted I cant fathom any vote going to anyone other than JR. JR smashed all of his own recieving records for any season in receiving and if he didnt already own it, he wiped Chad Sprague clean of any remaining records he may have owned. JR broke the record for the most receptions in a season, most yards in a season, most TDs receiving in a season, most combined TDs in a season, and took down Shannons long standing record for the most game MVPs in a season. After JR having already proven himself to be the marquee receiver in the league, this one was a long time comming.

| WR = Daniel Dolan | CB = Daniel Dolan |
| WR = Shannon Cross | DL = JR Hargrove |
Not only was Zach decisively the odds on favorite in the passing department, but also had high defensive numbers, and had 4 game MVPs this season. This won him the Season MVP. More notably Daniel Dolan who has been playing sparatically for a while actually put in enough tmie in one season to get noted in the all star teams.

Zach was the odds on favorite to win the season MVP this season but as you can read he didnt. You can blame me for that. Zach probably should have won the Season MVP but I got tired of Josh being overlooked every season and so I opted for him.

| WR = Adrian colbert | CB = Josh Griffin |

Gee, two seasons in a row I voted for the most annoying person in the GCFL to play with when he is losing but you cant argue the talent. I single handedly selected this seasons MVP bevcause no one else sent in a vote. Maybe I just went back to my dictatorial ways. Josh didnt stand out in anything because he spent sufficient time at QB and WR but when attendance is down and Josh is one of the lone calliber players still playing every week he will dominate most of the stats, run away with most single game MVPs, and make him the odds on favorite for Season MVP selection.

Not much to talk about for this season. I had a question of has anyone ever got a season MVP without ever having any game MVPs for the season. I couldn't find it. However you can credit Chase and Kyle for it. I actually had to use my vote to break many ties in this seasons lackluster voting.

JOSH GRIFFIN | OFFENSE | DEFENSE |
UNANIMOUS VOTE | QB = Josh Griffin | CB = Josh Griffin |
| WR = Adrian Colbert | CB = Chase Durnal |
| WR = Jesse Halbert | CB = Adrian Colbert |
| WR = Kasey Venetoff | CB = Jesse Halbert |
Out of the 600 people in GCFL stats, Jesse Halbert is in the top 10 in all time receiving. So he has been playing for a while. After saying that, this is the first time he has ever been mentioned or nominated to be on the all star team. Outside of that Josh Griffin ran away with the MVP vote. Not only did he throw for over 5000 yards and had solid passing stats but more importantly he broke the record for the most interceptions picked in a season. Adrian Colbert also posted the second best receiving season in GCFL history with 2751 yards.

ADRIAN COLBERT | OFFENSE | DEFENSE |
VOTES: Adrian Colbert 7, Chase Durnal 1 | QB = Zach Dolan | CB = Adrian Colbert |
| WR = Adrian Colbert | CB = Garrett Griffith |
| WR = Chris Jackson | CB = Josh Griffin |
| WR = Matt Roberson | CB = Kasey Venetoff |
A very interesting season. Chase Durnal is in the Hall of Fame however everyone discredits him for never winning a season MVP. Early on Chase was touting this season to be his and shooting for a 4000 yard passing and 1000 yard receiving season. Well it did garnish Chase one vote. However Chases stats were no match for the onslaught of receiving yards Adrian Colbert posted. Adrian's 4000 yards receiving, that's right 4000 yards receiving not only made Chases stats look miniscule in nature but Adrian caught for more yards than every QB threw for with the exception of Zach and Adrian was only 500 yards short of that. 4000 yards passing is a good season but 4000 yards receiving should be impossible. Outside of Adrian owning the league was getting high attendance every week with many weeks of 3 simultaneous games. This season, it also saw many of the young rookie high schoolers come into their own right with Garrett Griffith, Chris Jackson, and Matt Roberson making the all star team.
